Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Rec-Safe platform (“Platform”), including all features accessible through your member account. By registering for or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Member Accounts

To use the Platform, you must create an account using accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Promptly notifying the administrator of any unauthorized access or security breach

Accounts are personal and non-transferable. You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of third parties without authorization. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are inactive for an extended period.

2. Payments and Billing

Certain features of the Platform involve fees, including event fees, membership dues, and other related charges. By using these features, you agree to:

  • Pay all applicable fees as invoiced by the administration
  • Provide accurate billing information when required
  • Notify your administrator promptly of any billing errors or disputes

Invoices are generated by administrators and are visible in your member account. Payment terms, late fees, and accepted payment methods are set by each individual events and may vary. Rec-Safe is not responsible for payment processing disputes between members and the event organizer.

All fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in the event’s written policy or as required by applicable law.

3. Email and SMS Communications

By providing your email address and/or mobile phone number, you consent to receive communications related to your membership and event operations, including:

  • Account and billing notifications
  • Event confirmations and reminders
  • Announcements, newsletters, and event notices
  • Important operational alerts from the administrator

SMS — Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on event activity and your notification preferences. You may receive up to several messages per week during active periods. Reply STOP to any SMS to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for assistance.

SMS — Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging rates charged by your mobile carrier apply. Rec-Safe does not charge separately for SMS. Contact your carrier for details.

You may opt out of SMS notifications by replying STOP to any message or updating your preferences in your profile settings. You may opt out of email newsletters via the unsubscribe link in any newsletter or through your profile settings. Transactional messages related to your account and billing may continue even after opting out of promotional communications.

We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or email address with third parties for their own marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Platform to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Transmit spam, harassing, or abusive messages to other members
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or system components
  • Upload malicious code or interfere with Platform operations
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

Violations may result in immediate account suspension and referral to appropriate authorities.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rec-Safe and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or event facilities. Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the fees you paid to the Platform in the twelve months preceding the claim.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
